Mend Provisions was established in 2013 as a Minnesota-based seller of fly fishing and outdoor gear situated precisely in the middle of nowhere relative to trout fishing lore. We are tucked in halfway between the storied Catskill anglers that put American fly fishing on the map and the dusty romance of the cowboys’ Big Sky Country and even bigger trout. Despite that, we are home to amazing trout streams and world-class warm water fishing.

We’re a small shop focused on stoking the anglers in our own backyard with gear and instruction for the local waters. However, we enjoy pointing at maps and discussing fly patterns with adventurers wherever your basecamp is located.

If you visit our St. Paul store you'll find a wide offering of fly fishing gear in all price ranges and a well stocked room of fly tying materials, as well as outdoor based menswear and vintage goods. You won’t find our entire offering on the website, so please give us a shout if you need something beyond what you see.
